Meet Your Speaker
Loni Fagel, MA, MEd, LPCC is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, EMDR Certified Therapist (EMDRIA), and EMDRIA Approved Consultant in Training, and currently working towards becoming a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT).
Loni’s mission is to support individuals in healing emotional wounds and navigating life’s challenges, and building resilience through creative and evidence-based practices. She believes incorporating expressive arts into your healing journey can provide a powerful means of self-expression, emotional release, and personal reflection. Through expressive arts, Loni shows us that healing is not just about overcoming pain, but also about finding beauty and meaning in the process.
Loni specializes in working with individuals facing grief and loss, chronic illness/medical trauma, trauma, anxiety, and identity concerns and provides consultation and training on EMDR, Grief and Loss and Ambiguous Loss, Medical Trauma/Chronic Illness, Integration of Expressive Arts Therapy in general practice, working with Jewish clients and antisemitism, and Historical and Intergenerational Trauma. She is also co-author of a new children’s book, “Friends of the Bush; A Journey of Safety and Connection” due out late Spring 2025..
