Body-Wise Goals: Breaking Free from Modern Detachment
Transform goal-setting from a draining ‘should’ into an energizing practice by reconnecting with your body’s wisdom.

What You’ll Learn

Are you tired of setting goals that feel like they’re fighting against your own body? In our hyper-connected world, many of us have learned to override our body’s wisdom in pursuit of “shoulds” – what Tanya calls Modern Detachment Syndrome. This session introduces somatic techniques to bridge the gap between mind and body, helping you set goals that energize rather than drain you. You’ll discover how to recognize and release stored tension patterns that keep you stuck in perfectionism while learning practical embodiment practices for setting boundaries that honor your nervous system. By the end, you’ll have concrete tools to create goals that align with your body’s innate wisdom, leading to sustainable success that feels genuinely good.

Key Takeaways

  • Discover how Modern Detachment Syndrome may be blocking your goal achievement.
